Born in Seattle in 1968 and raised on the central coast of California, I grew up with an insatiable love of pop culture - especially all things to do with comics, cartoons and animation. Throughout my childhood and teenage years I drew compulsively, and in high school I began to make art a major focus in my life. I attended Brown University and majored in Visual Arts, where I concentrated in painting and continued to devour pop culture to an unhealthy degree. It has all paid off, though, as I eventually found a career in the comics industry, where I have worked in various editorial capacities since 1992.
